Stop At: The Royal Albatross Centre, 1260 Harington Point Rd, Dunedin New Zealand

On this tour we include a visit to the Royal Albatross Centre. It is free entry to the info gallery, cafe and gift shop. Some people opt to do the Albatross Tour add-on (*additional fee applies) where you will go on a special 1 hour guided tour of the nesting area. Stop At: Otago Peninsula, Dunedin New Zealand

Dunedin's wildlife are mostly found on the Otago Peninsula. This is a stunning piece of land that juts out from the mainland, almost like an island. We take you to the far reaches of the Peninsula, with the chance of spotting a variety of bird life. We always take the High Road for spectacular views and lookouts, and the Low Road for the scenic harbor-side drive.

Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Baldwin Street: The Steepest Street in the World, Baldwin Street, Dunedin 9010 New Zealand

Another must stop and see destination on all of our tours. The quirky Baldwin Street never fails to turn heads. It really does hold the record for steepest street in the World. But sometimes the only way to convince you is to take you there!

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Dunedin Railway Station, 3074332, Dunedin 9016, New Zealand

Likely the most photographed building in all of NZ, Dunedin's grand Railway Station is a must see. We always take the time to stop here to look inside at the beautiful mosaic floor and lavishly decorated interior.

Loved this tour! Our guide Jo was friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure we got to see the highlights of Dunedin as well as the 2 bird reserves. We were lucky to see the yellow eyed penguins as well as albatross flying and nesting with their chicks! Perfect tour from our cruise ship

Excellent trip on a lovely boat that cut through the water very smoothly. Very friendly crew and they made you feel at ease. Very nice wine and cookie and the search dog is brilliant. We saw lots of dolphins plus seals and penguins.Definitely recommend this trip 👍

We were with Iconic Wildlife Tour. The owner Kim was our tour guide and the driver. With anotherr couple not showing, my wife and I were Kim's sole guests so that we had enjoyed the whole day very personal attention and guidance. I am sure that experience would've been the same even with more participants, given Kim's professionalism and warm kindness. The only draw back was that the view of yellow-eyed penguines was cancelled due to the death of all chicks as a result of severe hot weather the week before ... : sad both for the demise of chicks and our tour! But, Kim had kindly refunded part of our tour cost. Kim literally drove us on the high - and low roads to watch other birds. He was especially determined for us to witness the beautiful Albatross, which was the highlight and we did .... what a view and experience! We loved the tour at every single moment! Highly recommended to go with Iconic Wildlife Tour and we wish you all could go see yellow-eyed penguine.

The all day tour with Alan Hansen could not have been better. We were met at the pier as arranged and were somewhat surprised that it was a private tour with only Alan, myself and my wife. He was extremely informative, giving us a great deal of information about the geography, history, political, and economic climate of New Zealand and the Otago Peninsula. Plenty of time to see the sights and to have an in depth discussion about life in New Zealand. Could not have had a better time. Saw seals, penguins, albatrosses and other wildlife. Alan was especially terrific. Would recommend this tour to anyone. Extremely reasonable price.
